Im building a Classic ASP application a Dreamweaver (VB). Its a bidding type of application. I only want to allow 25 bids (which get saved in a MS Access database using the standard Insert Record Behavior in Dreamweaver) per item up for bid. Basically, is there any way to limit the number of records inserted for a particular Id number? Note the ID isnt the primary key. Do you have an extension for this?

I really really need delete record extension that allows me to remove all entries in multiple tables that are associated with the main record ID being deleted.
For instance, I have a file management system that allows the client to upload a file and assign to a whole bunch of different categories and subcategories. The things associated with this file upload are in multiple tables. When they want to delete a file, it leaves behind all these associations that now point to a file that no longer exists.
I wish I could just apply an extension that would allow me to "remove all records from other tables that match this ID". Obviously developers hand-code this stuff all the time but since I don't know how to do that, I really would like an extension that makes this work easier for me.

I'd like to see a CS3 capable RSS feed writer to replace the dearly departed Interakt's RSS Writer.
I love the idea of the XML to Recordset extension, which I've bought, however, it's very specific as to which XML files it wlll work with.
Most XML files I user I have no control over, so it'd be nice if it was let "strict" over the XML files it talks to. If it could work in a similar way to how the Adobe Spry set works with XML files, then it would be fantastic!

I would like to see a function for the upload and resize extension to crop a thumbnail image to a specific size. I would envision this function working as follows: Specify thumbnail resize to 99px W x 99px H. Check maintain aspect ratio checkbox Check Crop checkbox. Image is resized to say 99 x 120 px or 120 x 99 px then cropped to 99 x 99 px. This would address the typical situation where you need square thumbnails for images that have a rectangular format.

I would like to have a time zone converter, where as, I allow my user to add their countries time zone, be it gmt etc etc. I know at present say my hosting company is in the US. I want to be able to show the present time on that specifc members page. The time would be taken from my hosting company and would be calculated by an extension you created to show the correct time in the members page as it is in there country.

One extension I would really love to see would be one for Nested Repeat Regions, that would display in other ways other than just the typical "Plus/Minus" signs on the left in a tree format. It would be nice to select a "Header Format" for the main category, and then list the respective sub-items.
I have an extension that does this now, but it is very limited and clumsy. From reviewing your extensions, yours seem far superior. Keep up the great stuff!

I love your extensions and I would like to see an extension that enabled the user to visually change the sort order in a database. I see this as a typical sort order field with numbers and the interface would be a list of records that the user could reorder, by drag and drop or by up/down buttons. The update button would then update the sort order field in the database.

I have te create a 'show pop-up menu' in Dreamweaver and get the menu-items from the database-table. With some copy/paste of asp-code in the text-field I achieved to display the first menu-item name and link it to the menu-item ID to direct it to the right page. But than the regular 'repeat region' function, needed for displaying all the menu-items in the recordset in the pop-up menu, fails.
Do you have an extension that makes dynamic pop-up menus possible, showing all the menu-items in the created recordset?

Adobe re-released the MXKollection as a suite but is not going to bring back the RSS reader/writer, etc... you should release a "suite" of your extensions like theirs that picks up where InterAKT is being discontinued. That will help bridge the gap to Dreamweaver CS3 for most people.

I request a feature that is similar to the SQL copy and insert new record feature. I have a client who wants to be able to add news items so they appear on the home page. When he wants to update the news item, he also wants to keep a copy of the old item. I would like to create a form where he can see results of old news item, press a button that would move that record to archives then generate a new item. It can even copy all the values of the old item into the new item, so he only has to change the text. He would then review changes and Add new record.

This is not possible, The file field in the form are read-only, so is impossible get all the images from a folder. Sorry

I have a suggestion of a feature for asp.net advanced mail extension. On the mail tab there is a field for 'mail format' which only allows for html or text. I think it will be very usefull to add an option which both sends html & text together. So if this option is selected both text and html versions of the e-mail must be entered(so there must be another field added to the body tab aswell).
